The firm of Thayer Engineering Company, Inc. was established in 1982 by Elliott Thayer to provide professional services in the fields of Civil Engineering, Land Surveying and Planning to clients consisting of individuals, business, industry and government (municipal, regional, state and federal). Since that time, the firm has been engaged in many engineering and surveying projects which have been varied, interesting and challenging. While the majority of projects have been within a fifty mile radius of Augusta, Maine, projects have been completed throughout the State of Maine and in the State of New Hampshire.
The quality of service provided by a professional organization is directly related to the ability of the staff to respond to clients’ needs. A staff of professional engineers and professional land surveyors supported by technicians and drafters assures a high quality of professional service. Professional staff include Elliot B. Thayer, Professional Engineer and Professional Land Surveyor in the State of Maine; Andrew Dunbar, Professional Land Surveyor, Soils Site Evaluator and Professional Forester; Robert C. Clunie, Professional Land Surveyor and Professional Forester; and Michaeline Mulvey, Professional Land Surveyor and Soils Site Evaluator.
Elliot and his partners make sure their company’s projects stay at a manageable level so that their emphasis can be on service. They work hard to maintain direct input in all their projects. They are all specialists in their disciplines and are able to handle any issues that need to be resolved. With years of experience, they are familiar with the ins and outs of the government permitting process. They strive to give their personal best whether the project is big or small. Every aspect is handled as if it was their own – from the early stages of developing a concept to the final design and blueprints; they are there by the client’s side, seeing the project through to completion and acceptance.
